ABOUT KAMENGO
Kamengo is a leading innovator in the bulk materials handling industry with roots in UBC research programs. They custom engineer and build large scale storage and feed solutions for a variety of sectors including biomass, mining, energy, food and drink.
DESIGN PREMISE
With jargon-heavy marketing assets and an outdated visual appearance, Kamengo needed to capture interest in future clientele by simplifying their brand story and emphasizing their unique benefits while modernizing their aesthetic.
MY ROLE
As the lead graphic designer at Kamengo, I design and execute marketing solutions, working in concert with engineers and sales team to deliver impactful assets that inform, and excite.
ICONOGRAPHY
By distilling material test procedures and complex 3D drawings to icons, Kamengo is better able to communicate their offering of services and applications while elevating their brand consistency.
MARKETING ASSETS
Kamengo bins and feeders are designed using practical knowledge to ensure reliable flow of material. I created a brochure outlining the material testing process that takes place to determine key factors like bin slope, lining material, bin opening, etc, which are critical to successful bulk material handling.
EXHIBIT DESIGN
To attract potential clients, I created an exhibit that flaunts benefits first, and unveils more feature driven selling points as you are closer to the booth. Pop-up banners are designed to cater to specific industries so Kamengo can easily adapt their backdrop for different events and conferences.
WEBSITE
Kamengo's outdated website lacked clarity on user benefits and needed a modernized look to be consistent with their identity as the reliable experts in their field of bulk materials handling.
