ABOUT SOO JERKY
Soo Jerky is Canada's #1 Asian meat snacks brand. Since 1985, they've crafted authentic jerkies, deli, and shredded dried meat snacks. Well known by Asian families throughout North America, Soo Jerky aims to expand to Western distributors, retailers, and customers.
DESIGN PREMISE
Soo Jerky is looking to connect with more customers and expand their demographic to younger audiences. Having updated their logo years ago, Soo Jerky's packaging, advertising, and social media presence did not do it justice.
MY ROLE
As Designer & Marketing Coordinator, I created promotional materials, and implemented marketing strategies. I revamped packaging, website, delivery truck, print ads, social media content to give Soo Jerky the established brand presence it deserves.

Through creative imagery, copy writing, designing ads, and strategic hashtags and contests, Soo Jerky was able to expand its audience of passionate Asian food lovers.

Website content has been reconsidered and revised to for more appeal for younger audiences that are new to the brand, and reaffirm Soo Jerky's specialty within the marketplace.
DELIVERY VAN WRAP
I designed Soo Jerky's delivery van exterior to serve as a mobile advertisement, rather than just a plain utilitarian vehicle. The packages shown on the driver's door was intentionally placed to allow for updates to the packaging without having to remove the entire wrap. The icons in the background represent all the flavours Soo Jerky offers.
PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
Marketing touch points such as posters, billboards, brochures, product catalogue, and print ads were produced and designed to be powerful, modern, elegant, and promote their brand and product offerings.
